A. The things that I liked about the class is that I got to learn the new S.S.S. every time I had this class, got to type faster than what I did before, and I got help every time I didn’t understand or know how to do something in the computer. The things that I didn’t like about this class are the interruptions during class because of the noise they would make but other than that I like this course.

B. Some of the suggestions that I have is really nothing because I like the f pace of the class and how it is going.

C. I really did do my best in this class because I did everything that was asked to do and when I was absent when I would have this class I ask the teacher if I can get the assignments that were given at the time.

D. I am reading my Life Planning Book every day at school or at home when I have a chance to or I read it in the night. I literally read at least 3min and to be honest I have forgot to read it a couple times at home during the weekend.

E. I am committed to being a CTR person. The reason being is because it’s a good feeling knowing that I am doing the right stuff I’m supposed to do and I always say the truth because there is no point in lying about something.

F. What I will promise about taking the responsibility of the Body-Mind-Spirit is that I am always going o say no to the bad stuff and to take care of myself always no matter what comes.

Interdisciplinary Unit Experience

In the IDP that had recently went on for the past month and the presentation last week it was kind of a struggle in the beginning. To start off the English teacher choose everyone’s groups and she decided to pick the topic for everyone. The topic that the group I was in had gotten the disease title of Hepatitis and we had to research on the topic to get a better understanding of what the disease is and how you can catch it. One of the times during the process of the project it was difficult for us to find out at what times we can meet up and work on the project at someone’s house just because we couldn’t accommodate where and when to meet up because some of the group members were out of town and some were really busy. We stood after school working on the power point, the essay, and practicing the slides to remember what each person has to say. We got everything done and memorized the power point slide and turned in our essay; it came to a Tuesday that we had to come dressed for the run through of the presentation and I was nervous at first but then after I wasn’t at all because the comments and suggestions that the class was giving the group and I were really helpful and nice. Then it came to a Thursday the day of the showcase I was really nervous I had butterflies in my stomach because I wasn’t ready for it, the time came for us to present at 5:15 p.m. in the afternoon and when we present we spoke clearly and everything went well, we asked the judges at the panels if they had any questions to ask the group and they didn’t but they had very nice comments to say about us and the presentation. On the day of the English class I got the paper with the score we got on the IDP and I couldn’t be happier because we got a perfect score on the project which is a 4.
“When I do good, I feel good.  When I do bad, I feel bad”

Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: This quote means that when you do something good you feel proud of yourself for what you had achieved or did. When you do bad you feel guilty for what you had did so you will feel bad about yourself.

Examples: 1. When you do good on a test you feel so good about yourself because you past it and did it correct.
Example: 2. when you take a test and you cheat on it but got a good grade you feel bad because you cheated from another person.

“Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual well-being”

Mr. HaymoRE

This quote means that if you are always responsible for what yopu do and what you set your mind to and spirit you really shouldn’t worry about nothing because you will always stay true to yourself no matter what happens.

EXamples in life for spirit, body, and mind:
1.      SPirit: you are always going to have a good spirit and action when something happens it is like religion you believe what comes to you or set yourself to
2.      mind: you set your goal in your mind and you start to achieve because it is also like telling you of what you have to get done
3.      body: YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN CONTROL YOUR BODY AND THE WAY YOU ACT

“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do.”

Richard L. Evans

This quote means that we need to do what is expected from us and do it when we are supposed to and then when we are not supposed to do it because then you will know when to continue and when not to.

In the video of Patrick it shows how he didn’t listen to his parents when they had told him to wear shoes he didn’t because he was wearing flip flops thinking that nothing was going to happen to him. When he finally realized that why his parents told him to put shoes on because he didn’t know if something was going to happen to him and so then that’s when he got stung by a scorpion. Some lessons that we can learn from the video is that when your parents ask you to do something it doesn’t matter what it is you should always listen to them no matter what it is because at the end if you don’t listen it can lead to something bad then what you have thought

“Always do right.”

Mar Twain

Reflection: This quote means that everything you should do and what you want to become it should always do right no matter what.

When You Tell One Lie It Leads to Another

When you tell one lie, it leads to another               So you lie and lie without even trying
So you tell two lies to cover each other                  And each lie you tell will keep
Then you tell three lies and, Oh brother                 multiplying
You’re in trouble up to your ears!                            ‘Till the whole wide world will know
So you tell four lies to try to protect you                 you’re lying
Then you tell five lies so folks won’t suspect           Then you’ll be
You                                                                            Suspected, detected, rejected, neglected,
Then you tell six lies and you’ll collect                    Disliked
A life filled with worries and fears                          And you should!
‘Cause you can’t remember how many lies            When you lie, you’re closing the door
You’ve told                                                               On everything good
And half the things you say aren’t true
And sometimes you’ll slip up, you’ll trip up
And then

Whatever will become of you?
“When you tell one lie, it leads to another”

Paul Hatch

Always speak the truth

Reflection: I think that this quote is actually saying the truth because you say one lie you believe it so then you just start to believe it and then you will end up saying another afterwards. Once you start to believe in one everything you say that is a lie you yourself is going to believe everything that you said that was not true.

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body; it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”

John F. Kennedy

This quote means that you should be a very active person in life because this can help you later on in life because it will show of how much effort you put into something.

I also won’t like to be this because I feel bad if someone has a disease or something or if they have a condition that can’t be treated so then that would mean I would not know how to help them at all.
